My name is Alya Syahida Allias, and I am High-Risk Society activist. For the past 10 years, I have been working together with the public to raise awareness on how education is a way out of poverty cycle.
Recent work trip, I end up in Kg Org Asli Perangin. hanging out with the villagers, give me a shock, where I found out there are 20s families still do not have electricity at their house.
I cannot leave without fans or air conditioners and paying my electric bills only RM150 top per month, for all the comfort. The villagers, have to spend RM600 per month just to light up 4-5 bolts at night. can you imagine, you only earn less than RM2000 per month, but need to fork out this large amount??
I want to invite all my friends and families, to join me in this journey. To ease these Orang Asli community to get a little bit comfy in their daily routine & definitely in their small pocket. Let us buy a pico solar set for them. Murah jer.. jom share together!!
